About the place:

Curtin’s Wharf Restaurant is located on the site of a small estuary lighthouse.    The Restaurant has an easy access dock so that those travelling by boat can pull right up and access the restaurant directly.   .  The 3 Curtin sisters started out in 1978 and have been running the restaurant ever since.   In the evenings and at weekends there is always a live jazz band.  Over 30 species of warbler have been spotted here during Spring and Autumn migration.
